Since 1988 Med-Care has been a leader in prehospital medicine, with a dedicated team of over 50 employees that are committed to providing excellent patient care. We provide emergency medical services (EMS) to eleven communities with three staffed ambulances 24 hours a day.
Our team consists of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s), Advanced EMT’s and Paramedics who are trained to deal with a multitude of medical emergencies. Our response model allows us to provide a flexible response to emergencies and deploy paramedics where they are most needed while meeting the needs of communities.
Our ambulances are equipped with modern Advanced Life Support (ALS) gear, including medications and therapies that essentially bring the emergency room to the patient, allowing patients to receive immediate care in the field and be stabilized for transport to definitive care.
Emergency Response / 911
Med-Care provides emergency 911 response to 11 communities 24/7. Our team is always available to provide care in an emergency, working with our local community hospital to ensure the best quality care.
Inter-facility Transport
We provide emergency and non-emergency transportation for patients moving between hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
Event Standby
Medical coverage for your event. We provide an ambulance and a crew of trained EMS providers. Depending upon the size and scope of the event, we can provide additional staffing. These are subject to billing rates and availability.
Community Paramedicine
A specialized service for individuals in our communities who need additional support but do not qualify for other home health services. Specially trained paramedics provide in-home care and assessments along with your doctor to monitor medical conditions and avoid unnecessary hospital stays.
