SERVICES
Our primary focus is the provision of emergency medical treatment and transport for our citizens. As a regionalized ambulance service we are able to focus all of our efforts toward patient care, allowing us to be the true experts in prehospital medicine. In addition to our emergency responses, about 1/3 of our call volume is related to patient transportation to other medical facilities. We perform routine and emergency inter-facility transport from our local hospital to other hospitals with higher levels of care. This is for conditions related to traumatic injuries, cardiology, and intensive care.
Emergency Response / 911
Med-Care responds to emergency calls everyday, bringing advanced life support (ALS) level medical care to the patient. We bring the emergency room to the patient.
Inter-facility Transport
We provide emergency and non-emergency transportation for patients moving between hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
Event Standby
Medical coverage for your event. We provide an ambulance and a crew of trained EMS providers. Depending upon the size and scope of the event, we can provide additional staffing. These are subject to billing rates and availability.
Community Paramedicine
Community Paramedics work with your healthcare provider to achieve your medical goals. We are capable of obtaining EKG’s, drawing blood for labs and checking vital signs from the comfort of your home. Working with your medical provider, we can help reduce complications from chronic conditions.
