What if I have a question about a bill?
All billing is coordinated through a third-party contracted service, Medical Reimbursement Services. Any billing related questions should be directed to them at the number below.

Do you accept payments on site?
We do accept payments in person during normal business hours. Payments by card are subject to a processing fee.
Do I have to be transported if I call 911?
No, patients that are competent to make their own decisions can refuse to be transported to a hospital nor can EMS force them to.
What hospitals do you transport to?
Our primary destination is Rumford Hospital for most 911 calls however, we transport to others as necessary for patient needs and per state protocols.
Will taking an ambulance get me seen faster at the hospital?
No, all patients arriving at the emergency room are triaged and seen in order of their urgency. EMS crews expedite care for time sensitive conditions such as stroke and heart attack by recognizing the conditions, transporting to the most capable facility and alerting hospital staff.

The first point of contact is our Shift Officer, who is available 24/7. They can be reached at (207) 364-8748 x2. All formal complaints should be made in writing and contain contact information.
