Covering over 560 square miles, our communities are nestled in the Western Maine mountains with many opportunities for outdoor recreation. Two alpine ski areas are located within our coverage area, and the Appalachian Trail borders it to the North. Plentiful wilderness areas offer opportunities for hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.
Daily we staff 3 ALS units on 12- and 24-hour shifts. We offer a great work schedule for our employees (24/48-24/96). Various opportunities for professional development, continuing education, and detailed events are offered as well.
